ENGLISH LANGUAJE CHALLENGES

Since I was in school, I have never been very applied to English, it is difficult for me to learn it and I never liked it very much, I think it might be because it was always difficult for me. Sometimes I get carried away with my emotions and English gets a bit frustrating.

I know that it is a very useful tool and that it will serve me later, so I have tried to approach it in a more friendly way. I've downloaded applications on my cell phone to practice in my free time, I've tried to watch series or movies in English and with Spanish subtitles, and I also help my little brother study to remember some elements, but nothing has worked out for me.

I don't know if it's easier for me to speak or write in English, when in class they do activities where I have to speak I feel embarrassed, my words get tangled up and I don't know what I'm saying. On the other hand, when I write and have more time, I feel a little insecure but try to remember songs or phrases that help me organize my ideas.

If you ask me which English I understand best, the British or the American, I don't think it makes much difference to me. I know that the pronunciation can be very different and that one is a little more formal than the other, but I honestly think that I understand them equally, although if I had to choose I would stay with the American English.
