MY DAYS IN QUARANTINE
I think these days have been very difficult for everyone, full of emotions, fears, anguish, uncertainty, nostalgia and many more. Personally, I have been through good days and bad days, and when I feel more overwhelmed I try to look for distractions. At first I started to organize my closet, separating what I wore and what I didn't wear, winter and summer clothes, shoes, etc. Next time I tried to start a "healthy life" (a plan that failed jaja) by eating healthy and exercising, but it's not something I really liked, I was doing it to keep my mind busy. One activity that did keep me very busy and entertaining was remodeling my house, painting my room, my mom's room and finally the living room, I changed some furniture and everything was very nice.
Despite these and other attempts to distract me in the confinement, I think what has served me best is the family time, support, conversation, laughter, sleeping together and watching Netflix is our favorite activity. We are currently looking at “how get away with murders”, a series about a prestigious law professor and five of her students, who have to face complex events and put into practice everything they have learned in class. There is a lot of mystery, suspense and that makes it interesting, we bet on what will happen in each chapter and although we rarely guess, it makes it more fun.
When you find an activity that makes you feel better, take advantage of it!
